The Mashlab is all about getting better. Sure, we rent cages and offer 24/7 memberships, but what makes us different are designed-to-drop-in classes like the popular Open Batting Practice (BP) workouts where everyone's invited and dad doesn't need to throw. We get the kids quality, guided reps and make sure everyone is getting better, meeting them "where they're at" but always pushing beyond.

We're obsessed with getting rid of the "monster in the cage, average in the game" feedback we hear so often. Why does this happen? Comfort!! Or a lack of it. At the Mashlab, we incorporate this in as much training as possible. Making our preparation more uncomfortable slows down the game when it matters most.

From a technical/philosophical standpoint, we prioritize connection, tight turns and proper sequencing. Aggressive mindset replacing "strike zone" with "hitting zone", gap-to-gap, staying inside the ball, working through the middle of the field. Taking swings without connection only reinforces bad habits and a swing that won't play at higher levels-- everything begins there.
